Dog obedience training is important part of the stage of development. This is where they learn how to socialise with other dogs, people, new situations correctly.
Most of importantly it installs a routine and a sense of fun in to it.
Training is based around socialising your dog along side informal obedience training. Emphasis put is on:
“Teaching the owner to train the dog”.

The course is available fro dogs from 6 months onwards.
The dog training sessions are designed to teach the owner to teach the dog basic commands such as sit, down, stay, recall, heel, leave and encourage play.
There is also emphasis on teaching the dog to recall in a variety of areas to help generalise the dogs recall behaviour.
Emphasis is placed on teaching the owner how to develop their dogs to become happy dogs and a well trained dog.
Positive dog training methods are only used.
We have two locations for the lessons.
Willingham woods as an outdoor class near Market Rasen.
Hemswell near Gainsborough where we have an enclosed area, agility, dog training and behaviour shop and soon have an indoor classroom for practical and theory lessons.

Dog obedience courses are in demand especially with COVID easing.
We do recommend booking early to avoid it being sold out. We have only 6 places on one course and the next course is running til July 2021.
If you cant attend one lesson then we can adapt it so you can miss one or two which is fine.

Socialisation & Training Package:
Yearly discounted access to the socialisation and training sessions once a month on a Sunday in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Plus access to our online dog training resources, 10% discount off all services and 25% off a canine behaviour OR a training workshop.
The sessions are for the set duration (1 hour) stated on the website. On average for 6 weeks for the foundation course and short courses are for 3 weeks. Not too long nor too short.
Additional session can be taken as apart of the socialisation session package to maintain the dog’s socialisation.

Alistair Spinks, the head trainer has 25 years with training dogs, trained dogs in the MOD and specialises in detection dogs and dogs for search and rescue.
